Educated in Nairobi and England, Kelly is a qualified Electronic Engineer in Sound and Lighting. He began working in the Media Industry whilst still at college, and following several years as an engineer, he became a self-employed Professional Presenter in 1979. Kelly then went on to acted as Principal Road Show Promoter for Radio Luxembourg, Capital Radio and Radio 1. In 1979 he was voted the best regional DJ by the Disc Jockey Federation of Great Britain.

Since then Kelly has played a high profile role in the establishment and success of many entertainment venues such as The Academy and L’Odeon in Bournemouth. Kelly has promoted many world class acts and ran a Record Label, Management Company and an Artist’s Agency. He has successfully completed a Turnkey Leisure and Radio project in Kenya and for the past six years has concentrated on Community Radio projects in the UK.

Kelly is a Professional Broadcaster specializing in live studio discussions, and is a regular guest speaker for any professional media seminars.
